There are 2 drugs in Zegerid: omeprazole, exploded the bomb in my stomach that it is increasing the production of neutralizing acid and sodium bicarbonate, which helps to acid in the stomach for another emergency. Bake immediately with the work when the capsule is dissolved drug in the stomach, but omeprazole may take up to 3-5 days its full effect in your body. The ideal is to take the medicine first in the morning before eating or drinking during the day, if your doctor tells you otherwise or if you are taking other medications, may interfere
Depending on age, gender, health status, etc., many times patients confuse the symptoms of heartburn from a heart attack. Did you sweat, after radiating pain from the chest, shortness of breath, pain in the left arm down, you can radiate from the neck? These may be signs of a heart attack and not heartburn.
You can also try to help some antacids such as Tums short duration of action to kick in Zegerid, again, if your DR said no.
